HAVE YOU GOT TALENT?

If so then Milton Keynes Theatre wants to hear from you as it launches its new talent contest MK's Top Talent.



And the fantastic prize for the winner is a paid professional contract to appear in this year’s spectacular pantomime Cinderella–as well as a cash prize!

Milton Keynes Theatre has joined up with MK NEWS to try and find the moxt exciting talent in Milton Keynes as part of their ten year birthday celebrations. If you’re a singer, dancer, actor, comedian or can entertain an audience in any way, then MK’s Top Talent is the show for you!

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Anyone can get involved talented or not as you can also be part of the MK’s Top Talent audience, follow the competition, and use your vote wisely to help your favourite act get through to the finals.

Elizabeth Adlington Chief Executive of Milton Keynes Theatre said: “Everyone can get involved, either as an audience member or for those of you with star quality, as a contestant.

"We see this as a platform to showcase the talent we know that Milton Keynes has to offer and truly believe this could be a life changing experience for someone.”

With a panel of special guest judges from the showbiz world and a huge selection of local talent, this will be one show not be missed!

If you think you’ve got what it takes to be a star and want to enter MK’s Top Talent you must reside within half an hour’s drive from the theatre, have an act that can be performed in around five minutes, be non-professional – and most of all – talented!

Open auditions will be held on Sunday 5th July for all successful applicants.

Elizabeth added: “Over the past 10 years the theatre has had a significant place in Milton Keynes life and beyond and in celebration of this we’re putting together a fantastic show which joins the forces of the talented theatre staff and the local talent we know is out there in and around Milton Keynes.

"It will be a week of celebrations and a contest that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.

"We’re not doing this alone – we need your help. We want Milton Keynes to really get behind this and help make someones dream come true”
