A group of residents is protesting against plans to build seven new homes on their village green.
While some in Oxley Park have been stirred into action over bus services, others are fighting to save an area of open space which is popular among children.

Milton Keynes Council granted permission for Charles Church Homes to build around 500 homes on the new estate in 2003 but an application has been made for seven more.
However some residents reject the council's claims that they were consulted on the extra homes and 80 people attended a protest meeting on the green.
A spokesman for Charles Church Midlands said: "We can confirm that we have submitted a planning application for a further seven homes.
"This application does include areas of public open space and a play area and is fully in line with our outline planning permission and requirements under the section 106 agreement."
