MK Lions will look to continue their fine run of form when they host Cheshire Jets on Friday evening.
The Lions have won six straight games to move up the table into play-off contention, and are now two wins behind Guildford Heat and Plymouth Raiders, who are tied in seventh place with four games in hand.
Lions go into the game in tenth place having split their first 16 games, while Jets are fourth with a 12-7 record.
It will be the third meeting of the season between the teams, and Jets have already sealed the season series after contrasting victories either side of the Christmas break.
The Jets visited the new MK Basketball Centre in December and romped to a 112-87 victory, but they were made to fight all of the way before chalking up a 108-106 win at Northgate Arena three weeks later.
Lions' coach Mike New is wary of a Jets team looking to bounce back after a loss against Worcester Wolves, he said: "Jets are a team that seem to have hit a bump in the road as of late.
"Obviously they are a team that are capable of finishing at the top in this league with the start that they had to the season.
"I'm sure that they will be working hard to rediscover their form, and we are working hard to improve ours.
"Jeremy Bell is their leader and everyone knows that Jets go as Jeremy goes.
"Quemont Greer has been solid for them all season, but Jets have a real advantage in tough times with the veterans that they have on their roster.
"They will steady their ship and get them back on track soon enough.
"We really feel like we lost the game the last time that we played them at their place and lost by two points.
"That was a valuable lesson that my young team learned in clock management in crunch time of the game.
"Since then we have had even more close games that have no doubt helped us to develop our poise down the stretch."
