Paul Ince has delivered a stark warning to his MK Dons players as they try to get their play-off hopes back on track.

The Dons boss is already identifying target players to bring in during the summer transfer window, and says every member of his current squad needs to perform until the end of the season as they need to win a place in his 2010/11 team.

In November the Dons were challenging for an automatic promotion place but a 5-1 defeat to Charlton and inconsistent results and performances since have seen them fall to eighth place and eight points adrift from Huddersfield Town who currently occupy the final play-off spot.

Falling down the table, and losing to promotion rivals Millwall midweek, has clearly dented the Dons' play-off ambitions but Ince wants his players to show character and resolve to push them back up the league.

Ince said: "We know where we are now, we've got to start winning games and we've got to start on Saturday at Yeovil which is not an easy place to go to so it's going to be tough.

"The one thing about this team is they will fight until the end, until it's mathematically impossible that we can't get in the play-offs.

"Of course it's disappointing that we're not in the play-offs but there's still 14 games to go I'm not giving up, we will keep believing, keep pushing.

"All the players who start on Saturday and forthcoming games they're all on trial to see if they can take us where we want to get to in the next two or three years.

"Anybody who thinks now that we can't get in the play-offs then they shouldn't be at this club, they've still got to know they're actually playing for their futures and hopefully that produces winning performances."

Earlier in the season the Dons were held to a 2-2 draw by Yeovil Town at stadiummk, tomorrow's reverse fixture could prove just as tough as the Glovers have only lost four times at home.

Sean O'Hanlon travelled with the squad and could be named on the bench tomorrow and Stephen Gleeson is available after serving a two-match ban, but Dons will be without Sam Baldock (knee) and Mathias Doumbe (groin).

Yeovil, who beat Walsall 1-0 midweek, are hoping to have Tottenham loanee Ryan Mason will return for the match.
