Budding young footballers were given the opportunity to shine at open trials held by the MK Dons academy.
Boys aged from eight to 16 attended the trials at Kents Hill Playing Fields in an attempt to earn a place at the Dons' academy and elite centres.
Not only did they have to impress the academy coaches on hand they also had former midfielder Mitchell glancing an eye over the matches. Watch our video to hear his thought.
