Tomorrow is the big day when England will find out if they will host the 2018 World Cup.
I for one hope they get it - even as a Scotsman!
I don’t like what has gone on with the political side of things, England deserve the World Cup because they’ve got a great bid and that should be the end of the matter.
A lot has been said about the Panorama programme and its investigation, but I didn’t watch it I was more interested in the Barcelona-Real Madrid game as most football fans were.
England have everything in place and if they get it, it will be wonderful for Milton Keynes, for the club, the fans, communi-ty and the local businesses.
It makes sense to have it in England because the country has fantastic stadiums, training facilities, hotels and transport - which will only get better if they get the World Cup.
I’ve been involved in a World Cup and it is an amazing experience.
I find it incredible that England haven’t had the World Cup since 1966 - the country had a successful European championship in 1996, and Wembley is hosting the Champions League final this season so it can cope with the big games.
Away from the World Cup announcement, the team been braving the weather and have been back in training.
We were unable to train at Woughton on the Green on Tuesday so our groundsman did a magnificent job to clear the snow at the stadium so we could get on the pitch.
Obviously the weather conditions make training a bit harder. You can train on snow, it’s the ice that causes the problems and we have to be careful because we don’t want to pick up any more injuries, especially now Angelo Balanta is out for a few months.
He had a successful operation yesterday and now we all wish him the best in his recovery.
To have a quality player like him out will hurt us, but the team are determined to get back to winning ways against Plymouth.
