Three men have been sentenced to a total of five years and nine months for robberies.
James Alexander Garforth, 20, from Carlina Place, Conniburrow, was sentenced to two years and three months detention in a Young Offenders Institute after he pleaded guilty to three robberies.
Robert Joseph Collinson, 22, from Carlina Place, Conniburrow, was sentenced to two years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to two robberies.
Steven Anthony Randall, 19, from Long Road, was sentenced to 18 months detention in a Young Offenders Institute after he pleaded guilty to three robberies.
The sentences are in relation to three robberies which took place on 10 October 2009. The robberies took place in Loughton, Oldbrook and Central Milton Keynes, where the victims were assaulted and had items stolen including mobile phones, wallets and tobacco.
The Milton Keynes men were sentenced at Huntingdon Crown Court on 27 August.
Det Con Wayne Watson, who led the investigation, said: "This show’s it doesn't matter how long it takes, we will pursue any crime and ensure the
people responsible are put before the courts.
"I am pleased with the sentence given and I hope this sends a warning to any would-be criminals; it doesn't matter when the offence took place, we will endeavour to ensure you are put before the courts where you could face imprisonment."
A fourth man, Lee Randall, 22, from Nicholas Mead, Great Linford, is due to be sentenced at a later date. He was also charged in connection with the three robberies.
