Sing yourself happy this summer

Sing yourself happy this summer.

Glee Club and Xtreme Sports are two, two-day taster challenge taking place on  August 2 and 3 at Leon School and Sports College and on  August 4 and 5 at The Hazeley School.

Sessions will run between 11:30 - 4.30pm and are free for anyone aged 11 – 17 years old.

MK’s very own Glee Club will be a great chance to sing, dance, improve performance skills and have fun with the Make a Difference (MAD) Team.
Xtreme Sport with Sport Xtra offers an opportunity to have a go at a range of unusual sport activities such as climbing, archery, sumo wrestling, parkour, kwik cricket,  dodge ball, rock-it-ball and futsal.

These taster sessions are run by Milton Keynes Council Extended Services in partnership with the University of the First Age.

Extended Services Coordinator Mandy Legg said: “The two fun filled days will encourage young people to take part in a variety of activities, helping to build self confidence and gain knowledge of these new sports and arts activities.”

To sign up for a place email mandy.legg@milton-keynes.gov.uk or telephone 01908 252447.
