A MAN was dragged along by a moving car after he tried to speak to the driver.
Between 12.20pm and 1pm on Monday (8/3) the victim approached a vehicle on the V8 Marlborough Street.
As he went to speak to the driver through an open window the driver pulled off, dragging him along for several hundred yards.
As the vehicle stopped at a roundabout the victim let go and fell to ground. He sustained minor injuries.
The vehicle involved in the incident is a dark blue Peogeot 306.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, including a number of people who assisted the victim, to come forward as their information could be vital to the investigation.
