Bradwell Abbey will be hosting a family-fun day and symposium this Sunday showing local life in the Middle Ages.
The free Medieval Family Fun Day at Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre will include have-a-go archery, a falconry display (at 1:30pm), meeting medieval soldiers, 'kill or cure' surgery, and a delicious hog roast.
The event will take place this weekend on September 12 11am – 4pm.
Also 12.00 – 4.30 on the same day, MK's first medieval symposium will be on offer with expert talks and a drinks reception.
This will enable people to explore life in the Middle Ages and the unique wall paintings in St Mary’s chapel.
Tickets for the symposium are £8.00 - which fund towards the chapel's upkeep.
