Man flashes at 11-year-old girl

A man exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl yesterday (Sunday).

At around 4.45pm, an 11-year-old girl was slegding with her friend on a hill in front of Oakgrove School, Woolstone, when a man, who was jogging, arrived and sat on a bench behind the victim. He tied his laces and then started running again.

About ten minutes later, the offender arrived back and saw the victim was alone. He approched her and from ten feet away said: "Hey look at this," before exposing himself. When he saw the victim’s friend coming back, he ran off.

PC Atif Karim, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who has information about this man or who saw a man acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident.

“The area was busy when the offender first arrived, however as it was getting dark there weren’t many people around when he returned ten-15 minutes later and I am keen to speak to someone who saw the man jogging in the area.”

The offender is described as white, between 23 and 26-years-old, slim, about 5ft 11ins, and clean shaven. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved water-proof jacket, blue knee-length shorts, and a black hat with baby blue strip on it. He spoke with local accent.

Anyone with any information should contact PC Karim via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 101.

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
