A Furzton man has been charged with theft of number plates and theft of fuel.

Mohammed Saddique Ahmed, 20, of Favell Drive, was charged with one count of theft from a motor vehicle and one count of making off without payment.

 

Ahmed has been released on bail and is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

 

The charges are in connection with the theft of front and rear number plates from a vehicle in Maidstone Road, Kingston, on February 8.

 

The stolen plates were then used on a red Mitsubishi, later that evening, at the BP service station, H6 Childs Way, to steal fuel.
