Three women have organised the city's biggest curry-eating event in aid of charity.

 

On September 18 at The Church of Christ the Cornerstone, people in Milton Keynes are invited to enjoy a three-course meal freshly prepared by volunteers.

 

 

For just £10, guests will be treated to a starter, a buffet-style vegetarian main course and a dessert.

 

 

There will be two sittings – 1pm-3pm and 6pm-8pm.

 

Full three-course take-aways will also be available from 12noon-8pm.

 

This will be the second year the team have put on the event - last year they raised £4,500 but they are determined to beat this total.

 

An organiser said: "We are in the process of collecting donations of ingredients and raffle prizes in order to organise a fun-filled day for the whole family and raise the maximum amount for the wonderful cause."
