Two charity boxes and £200 was stolen from a till from a sweet shop in Wolverton.
Two men forced entry to Royal Sweets, Stratford Road, Wolverton, at 1.15am, where the money and charity boxes were stolen - one for the air ambulance and the other for the Pakistan flood appeal. It is unknown how much money was in the charity boxes.
Shortly after the offence two suspects were stood on Radcliffe Street, Wolverton, when three members of the public walked past them and spoke to them.
Police are keen to trace the members of the public who spoke to the suspects as they may have vital information.
The offenders are white. One of the offenders was wearing a grey jacket with the hood up and white trainers. The second offender has short brown hair with sideburns and he was wearing a dark blue jumper with three distinctive white stripes running horizontally and black trousers.
