Show your support for Age UK Milton Keynes by sporting a woolly bobble on Bobble Day this Friday.
More comfortable to wear than a red nose, and available in three colours, Age UK Milton Keynes’ bobbles are on sale now in all their charity shops.
The pink, orange and yellow woolly bobbles are being sold to raise funds for the annual Spread the Warmth campaign.
Chief Executive of the local charity, Jane Palmer, said: “Bobble Day is your chance to get involved and change lives.
All the proceeds from the sale of the bobbles will be used in Milton Keynes.
The money raised will help us continue to provide information, advice and practical services to help older people keep warm and well in the cold winter months.”
Buy your bobble for £1 and help spread a little warmth around the city with all the proceeds being used in the area.
Age UK Milton Keynes is currently able to carry out free energy-checks on homes, can advise on loft and cavity wall insulation, and can carry out draught proofing and fit other energy saving devices free of charge.
The Milton Keynes charity also has access to several hardship funds that can help people on low incomes buy essential items of equipment to keep them warm and safe over the winter, from blankets and microwaves to washing machines, central heating boilers and new windows.
