A 14-year-old boy was assaulted in a park by a gang of older teenagers.
The victim was in a small park in Bradville with his twin brother and a group of friends at around 6pm on Sunday (7/3) when they were approached by a group of five older teenagers.
One of the teenagers demanded that the boy's brother hand over his bicycle and grabbed it from him.
The boy stepped in to protect his brother and was punched in the side of the face.
The offender then dropped the bike and walked off with the rest of the group leaving the park, which is next to the cricket pitch and the old windmill.
The boy sustained a swollen cheek and two small cuts to the inside of his mouth.
The main offender is described as white, approximately 18-years-old, five foot eight inches tall with a round spotty face.
He had ginger hair which was spiked on top and had a visible scar on his face running from the right hand side of his head to his right eyebrow.
He was wearing a dark grey hooded Nike jumper, black Nike jogging bottoms and dark gloves.
The other offenders were aged between 15 to 19 and were all wearing tracksuit tops and bottoms.
One of the group was wearing a distinctive bright green and pink beanie hat.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the park and witnessed the incident or anyone who may know the identity of the offenders.
