Binmen drugs probe

CITY refuse workers have tested positive for drugs or alcohol for the second time in just over 18 months.

MK NEWS understands five employees at Serco, the company which provides waste collection and other environmental services for Milton Keynes Council, came out positive in the latest round of tests.

Serco has now confirmed ‘a number of individuals’ tested positive for cannabis or alcohol and have now been suspended pending further investigations.
