Milton Keynes’ members of the England 2018 bid will dine with FIFA officials today (Wednesday).
A team of FIFA delegates has been in England inspecting the country and its potential to host the 2018 World Cup.
FIFA arrived on Monday morning to visit London, Newcastle/Gateshead, Sunderland and Manchester.
Although the delegates did not visit Milton Keynes, a candidate host city, they were expected to fly over the city and stadiummk.
Today England’s bid team will gather with the FIFA officials for an informal meal in Manchester, where they are expected to get some feedback on the inspection.
MK2018 chairman Dr Ann Limb, MK Dons chairman Pete Winkelman, MK Dons Sport and Education Trust chairman John Cove and Major of Milton Keynes, Cllr Debbie Brock will all be in attendance.
Dr Limb and Mr Winkelman were part of England’s 2018 team’s presentation to FIFA yesterday.
