The boys are back in town - or at least the next best thing - when an award-winning Thin Lizzy tribute act comes to The Stables.
Named the world’s number one Thin Lizzy tribute act and renowned for an action-packed explosion of a show, Limehouse Lizzy keep the spirit of rock icon Philip Lynott and his band alive, dominating stages worldwide.
Attention to detail and that all important X-factor feeling of witnessing the real thing have led to their performance being described as ‘beyond tribute’ by audiences and critics alike.
Expect more Celtic-influenced tracks like Whisky in the Jar and Black Rose among classic tracks such as The Boys are Back in Town, Sarah and many others from one of the most highly rated acts on the circuit.
The band promises to explore and celebrate the artistic and musical legacy of the hard-rocking, yet at times surprisingly tender and romantic Lynott.
This year’s tour will be going across the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Holland and Belgium.
It follows the enormous success of their ‘Into the Limelight’ 2008 tour, which travelled as far as a headline slot at the Rhodes Rock festival in Greece and the Virgin Atlantic Music festival in Barbados.
