The unique and unforgettable collaboration in the 1970’s of two of the 20th Century’s most celebrated violinists in their respective fields, Yehudi Menuhin and Stephane Grappelli, is the major focus for this concert.
They will each play solo pieces from their own particular oeuvres before teaming-up to fuse their formidable violin powers for the main part of the show in which they will perform some of the actual arrangements scored for Menuhin & Grappelli by Max Harris including Jealousy, A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square and Lady Be Good.

After a half century of creating music, he continues to dazzle and delight audiences across the globe. He’s at the height of his creative output right now, having recently released tribute albums to Duke Ellington and Johnny Mercer, and last year received the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album for his 2008 release The City That Care Forgot, considered to be his finest recording for 20 years.
