ROCKING ROCKS AND FOSSIL FINDING
Thursday, February 16, Stonepit Field, 10am-noon
A HALF-TERM event with a geological twist. Learn more about the formation of rocks, build a volcano and hunt for some fascinating fossils.

BUSZY
THERE’S loads going on for youngsters at the Buszy during the half-term holiday.
A packed schedule full of activities is in the diary for Monday to Friday and there is sure to be something to suit all tastes.
Skateboarding, a glee club, photography, animation, street dance, arts and crafts, hair and beauty, cooking, graffiti sessions and zumba will all be taking place to keep those who are off school occupied.
It’s all part of the make a difference scheme for half-term and different sessions are tailored for different age groups.
On Friday a party will round off the week between 4 and 6pm.
There will be music, disco lights and a showcase of all the achievements and amazing work produced over the week.
Later in the evening, between 7 and 10pm, is the U18 open-mic night The Attic Unplugged, which takes place on the third Friday of every month.
This time it’s a charity gig raising money for Project Trust and special guest headliners will be joining the usual open mic crowd. All young singers/musicians/poets are welcome to take to the stage and a second room will host DJs.

FROSTS GARDEN CENTRE, WOBURN SANDS
CHILDREN can get creative and decorate a bird glider of their choice, then make their very own bird food mix, ready to take home in a fantastic bird seed feeder.
The activity lasts approximately 25 minutes and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Turn up anytime between 10am and 4pm, throughout half-term week.
Booking is not required, however tickets can be bought at the customer service desk or online at www.frostsgroup.com. Costs £2.99 per child.
STREET GAMES, WOUGHTON LEISURE CENTRE
COME and take part in a fun-filled half-term day where you can try a number of different sports including boxing, football, korfball, water rowers, street dance, dodgeball, basketball and more.
All will be showcased by a number of organisations across the city.
From 10.45am-3.30pm, for ages 13 to 19. Costs £1.

SNO!ZONE
THE Land of Oz visits SNO!zone in CMK this half-term.
Join Dorothy and get creative by making some hearts for the tin man in the arts and crafts area, and kids can also play in the ‘somewhere over the rainbow’ children’s area.
There is also sledging and an ice slide that the whole family can enjoy.
So follow the yellow brick road to SNO!zone this half-term.
