India 2GO is a new takeaway and delivery service in Peartree Bridge that offers free delivery on orders over £10.
Our order was delivered to the MK NEWS offices in Fox Milne on time and, crucially, still hot.
The menu has an impressive range of appetisers, 18 in total, from kebabs to samosas.
There is also a broad choice of main dishes including tandoori specials, massala, balti specialities, traditional and contemporary dishes, biriani, Persian and fish specialities.
We chose to sample a range of starters and sides including vegetable samosas (£1.95), onion bahjis (two for £1.95), aloo gobi (£2.50) and bombay potato (£2.50).
The potato was cooked to the perfect consistency and the crunchy bahjis also pleased, but the samosas were a bit of a mystery.
For our first main dish we opted for the chicken tikka massala (£6.50), with generous chunks of chicken prepared in a mild sauce with fresh spices and cream blended in flavoured almond and coconut.
The massala sauce was a hit in the office, with a deliciously creamy texture that was not overly tangy.
Those who prefer a little more kick to their sauce particularly enjoyed the lamb bhuna (£4.60).
The sauce again scored highly and the overall rating was high.
Each dish worked well with a variety of rices, pilau (£1.95), mushroom fried (£2.25) and special fried (£2.25).
Other dishes that caught the eye were the delightfully named gost-enawabi (£7.25), a medium spice marinated lamb cooked with herbs and exotic highly flavoured spices, and the most expensive dish, the duck mazadar (£9.95), another medium dish with diced duck cooked in a thick ginger, garlic and green pepper sauce.
This takeaway also offers three set meal options for one or two people which cost up to £22.95.
