Pinnacle proves its green pulling power

With the increasing battle to be green, another of Britain’s largest firm of accountants has made the decision to lease offices within The Pinnacle - Milton Keynes’ newest and greenest building on Midsummer Boulevard.
 
Mazars, the UK’s ninth largest accountancy partnership has agreed to take 15,000 sq ft of accommodation within this award winning building - with commanding views over the city’s skyline.  It will shortly relocate its staff, specialising in auditing, accounting, tax and advisory services from its existing premises on Witan Gate.
 
The Pinnacle - a 250,000 sq ft property - was developed by Hampton Brook in a £70m inward investment, as part of a joint venture partnership with Aberdeen Property Investors. 
 
It offers Grade A accommodation which been awarded the highest ‘green’ accolade, having obtained BREEAM Excellent rating  from the Building Research Establishment and was awarded one of the UK’s most prestigious accolades at the National Office Development Awards for sustainable achievements at the end of last year.
 
Ian Jackson a Director at Hampton Brook said: “The Pinnacle’s green credentials have certainly added up for accountancy practices with Mazars joining Baker Tilly, Deliotte LLP and the law firm Denton Wilde Sapte LLP. 
With its outstanding environmental credentials, The Pinnacle offers tenants massive savings in energy consumption - being connected to the City’s new district Combined Heat and Power (CHP) network - and will produce 60 per cent fewer carbon emissions than considered desirable under industry guidelines.”
 
He added: “This relocation no doubt demonstrates the future of Mazars in Milton Keynes as well as their confidence in this new Landmark office building.  It will certainly help collaborative working and, at the same time, will create the type of environment demanded by staff and in line with their core green principles.”
 
The Pinnacle also provides secure car parking spaces - located underground to ensure that there is no detraction to the visual impact of the property and its surroundings.
