THE Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Debbie Brock, has officially opened the doors to the city's newest housing development.
The first 200 homes of the Brooklands development from Places for People are currently being built and are now available for public viewing.
The first mix of houses range from two bedroom apartments to five bedroom detached homes.
Ove the next ten years the 360 acre site on the eastern edge of the city will see a total of 2,500 homes built as well as associated infastructure.
As well as parks and meadows on the site there is already Brooklands Farm Primary School as well the specially created landscaped Brooklands Ridge, built to block out noise from the neighbouring M1.
