LSN Media publishes market leading free newspaper titles targeted to their local areas across Beds, Bucks and Northants.
The business was established in 1977 with Bedfordshire on Sunday, and has expanded every year since then.
In the last 32 years we’ve won countless awards for the quality of our news coverage, design, and innovation and have won the admiration of readers and advertisers in all of our markets during this time.
In 2008 LSN Media purchased the Northants Herald & Post series of free weekly newspapers from Trinity Mirror PLC. These titles include two editions covering Northampton and Wellingborough and Rushden.
Bedfordshire on Sunday is LSN Media's original title and has been an established front-runner in local newspapers for over 30 years. It is part of a series of free titles targeted and distributed to the Borough of Bedford, Mid Beds and the surrounding villages. The latest independent market research confirms that this newspaper is the undisputed market leading title across north and mid beds and that it has more readers per week than any other local title. The Luton & Dunstable Express (Formerly the Luton & Dunstable on Sunday) is the midweek, leading free newspaper for Luton, Dunstable and the surrounding villages, and is delivered free across the area every Wednesday. It’s also the preferred newspaper for all advertising from Luton Borough Council as well as many of the other significant businesses and organisations across the area.
MKNews is our Wednesday free newspaper for Milton Keynes and the surrounding villages and has been an enormous success since its launch. It is the market leading newspaper for the area, and has been voted by the Newspaper Society as the “Best free Newspaper in The UK” and also won the “UK Weekly Newspaper of The Year” award in 2008 by the UK Newspaper Awards panel.
The LBNews is the sister newspaper title of the MKNews and is published and written for the Leighton Buzzard and Linslade areas. This newspaper is also distributed widely across the area every Wednesday.
In 2008 we also launched a new newspaper title called the Biggleswade Advertiser to serve eastern parts of Bedfordshire centred on Biggleswade and Sandy. This newspaper has gone from strength to strength and is distributed every Wednesday.
